got things set up when we heard of the first big west hitting the north shore back in mid october last year......landed in waikiki on a friday, by saturday night they where calling it 12-15 foot. too much sand on the bottom at pipeline but most everything else was going off. now-a-days we are in a world where every moment of our lives that we show in social media, we got photographers getting everything down on digital images for our veiwing pleasure. people have so many photos of themselves surfing, sporting events, jobs, parties, skating, riding their motorcycles.....LOOK AT ME! well i had my staff of photographers capturing some rad shots of myself....and some friends but they`re not important. just me.........

we were ripping this place to shreds....fucking locals where freaking out. actually, fuck those guys.
i was going off.i hated sharing the board with those guys. they where holding me back. that`s josh laying the coffin and rick deep in the barrel. i have known these guys for over thirty years. we are all so different. what has kept us together for so long is that we are total geeks......
local arts and crafts, we weren`t to sure what these were? fossils, ancient whale bones?
josh has a double P.H.D. and he decided these where ancient war clubs. makes sense. i should have gone to college........
i captured this little/big guy in a resturant on the eastside. everyone was afraid to catch him and people were laughing and screaming so i went over and picked him up and brought him outside....but not until i ran around the bar scaring the shit out of everyone. funny though, it wasn`t the frog they were scared of.......such is the case. aloha.
