everytime i walked out of one of the buildings, feeling my footsteps stink into the worn wooden steps where so many had walked at one time, i would look up into the sky and around at the other buildings and trees...............it was so weird
.....there were no birds anywhere.......we drove to poland, all the way from prague and we saw birds everywhere...... it seems as if they knew that something very bad happened here. total trip. but i kinda think everything is a total trip.

I did a trip to Auschwitz and Birkenau about 8 years ago. Definitely a life changing experience. I don't think I spoke to one single person the entire time I was there. Speechless.
yeah ricki, it blew my mind. i was there about 5 hours reading everything....felt like an hour. time flew by so fast taking in all that info. heavy for sure. i needed a beer so bad afterwards. such is the case.
